Trench Art Spitfire Cufflinks

Martin De Ruyter hand makes "trench art" spitfires from three and six pence coins into brooches, earrings, pendants and cuff links, from his home in Nelson, New Zealand.
Martins late grandfather (James Fisher) taught him how to make the shape a three pence coin into the shape of a spitfire. When James was fifteen years old he would make brooches from English three pence coins during tea breaks from making real spitfires for the RAF, in a factory near his home in Swindon.
