Boots are an essential part of any soldier’s kit, especially an infantry soldier. It is for this reason that Cory Rinaldi chose to paint his own combat boots as part of the Anzac Memorial Veteran Artist in Residence program which then featured in his 2022 exhibition A Soldier’s Healing.
